An Introduction to ...

Our 'Introduction to ...' programme is for anyone who may be new to the field of palliative and end of life care. This can range from administration staff, fundraisers, domestic staff, health care assistants, care workers, shop staff and volunteers. These one-day courses give a base from which further knowledge and expertise can be built. A discount of 10% will be applied for anyone booking all four 'Introduction to ...' days.

Communication Skills in Palliative Care
This basic level course provides an introduction to the essential components of communication and is designed to improve skills and confidence in communicating with patients, their families and other staff.
 
End of Life in PC
Palliative and End of Life Care
This study day will enable the health care and social care worker and volunteer to develop and improve their understanding of end of life care and its effects on patients, family and carers.

A two-day course that should be taken as a block.
These study days will enable the participant to develop and improve their understanding of symptom control in a palliative care setting.
