Specialist Modules

Our Specialist Modules are run in partnership with the University of Plymouth. Each module lasts for seven taught days and is delivered in either our Taunton or Yeovil Academies by a range of experienced palliative care and end of life care professionals led by Lesley Queen, Head of Advancing Practice.

Specialist Modules

We run two modules each year and they are primarily aimed at registered health and social care practitioners, although experienced or senior health care assistants and assistant practitioners will also benefit from attending these courses. Upon successful completion of each module, which will include a written assignment, candidates will be awarded 20 credits at level 5 (diploma) or level 6 (degree) from the University of Plymouth or credit for a graduate certificate or diploma.
