Walk the Great Wall of China
The Great Wall of China was built and modified between the 6th Century BC and the 16th Century to protect the Chinese Empire from attack by nomadic tribes. It is approximately 4,160 miles long and has always been a popular challenge for walkers, particularly those wanting to raise sponsorship money for charity.
There are various routes for walkers along the Great Wall, and a reasonable level of fitness is required for this adventurous challenge. If you would like to walk the Great Wall in aid of St Margaret's Hospice please contact us to discuss your ideas on 0845 345 9671 or e-mail fundraisingoffice@st-marg-hospice.org
