Join St Margaret's Hospice for their 4th Annual Charity Walk!

The annual charity walk follows a route between the two hospices in Taunton and Yeovil and has seven registration points. Walkers can start at any one of the registration points and walk as little or as far as they like. Registration points will be located in Yeovil, Odcombe, Martock, Langport, Stoke St Gregory, Creech St Michael, Taunton, North Newton and Bridgwater. More information can be found in 'About the Walk'

The entire route is 34 miles and the shortest distance 4.5 miles. The walk is a wonderful opportunity to see different parts of Somerset in the glorious month of May, when nature is so often at its very best.

In 2007, despite the adverse weather conditions, 350 walkers took part with 25 valiant supporters trekking the full distance. Their collective sponsorship raised nearly £27,000 for St. Margaret's Hospice. You can view previous walks in 'Archive'.

ON-LINE REGISTRATION HAS NOW CLOSED - PLEASE REGISTER AT ANY ONE OF THE POINTS LISTED HERE

The Charity Walk is run and promoted by St. Margaret's Somerset Hospice and its volunteers. Leaflets for the walk are available at all twenty St. Margaret's Charity Shops, and at the hospices in Yeovil and Taunton.

The suggested cost to register is £3 per adult walker (children under 16* free), walkers are also invited to turn up on the day and register at any one of the registration points. Participants raise funds by collecting sponsorship for each mile walked or simply for taking part.

*A responsible adult must accompany children under the age of 16 years. Dogs are welcome but please keep them on their leads and clean up after them
