We currently have the following volunteer vacancies:

Receptionists - Taunton only
We are fortunate to have reception areas in both In-patient units covered by a team of volunteers. Volunteer receptionists are the first point of contact for both phone contact and visitors.
For the In-patient Unit at Heron Drive, Taunton, we are particularly seeking reception volunteers for weekends and evenings.
If you would like to find out more, please contact Sue Wilmott - Voluntary Services Co-ordinator in Taunton on 01823 259394 or email.
Complementary Therapists
Our volunteer Complementary Therapists provide a variety of treatments to In-patients, Day Hospice patients, outpatients and patient carers. Treatments include reflexology, aromatherapy and Indian head massage. All volunteer Complementary Therapists need to be professionally qualified and provide their own insurance.
At the moment we are particularly looking for 'Bank' therapists who could cover planned absenses such as annual leave, and therapists who would be happy to provide treatments for not only our patients and their carers but our staff too.
If you feel that you can make a difference by helping our team of Complementary Therapists, please contact one of our Volunteer Co-ordinators, as below.
