Professional development and learning
Our department for professional development and learning is dedicated to providing a high quality education service, designed to meet the specialist palliative care training needs of St Margaret’s staff and other health and social care professionals across the UK.
We offer a wide range of educational courses, study days and academic modules in specialist palliative care and other related subjects.
St Margaret’s has an accredited academic partnership with the University of Plymouth and delivers modules at degree and diploma level & graduate certificate / graduate diploma in palliative care.
Our education programme is designed to be as flexible and accessible as possible. All courses and study days are delivered by a team of highly skilled and experienced professionals from across the multi-professional team, and the content and material used is kept under constant review to ensure that it continues to meet the highest possible standards of evidence based practice.
We also design and deliver specialist palliative care programmes to meet specific needs of other allied health and social care providers. For further information please contact us.
