• Understanding of how to position the patient and how to use the pressure redistributing equipment
• Increased awareness of shear and friction damage and the use of manual handling devices
• Understanding of the impact of patient education
• Increased awareness of the management of wounds
• Raised awareness of the importance of accurate documentation and audit for improving care.
