Course applications
Where possible, please give your work address as the main contact as this helps to keep our costs to a minimum. You are required to have the necessary study leave agreed by your manager prior to submitting this application.
You will receive an email confirmation of your on-line booking, and joining instructions will be sent to you by mail 4 -6 weeks prior to the course date. If, on receipt of your application, the course is full, we will notify you by return and you will be offered the option of being placed on the waiting list or having your application transferred on to the next course date. If at any time you find that you will be unable to attend, please advise us immediately so that your place can be offered to someone on the waiting list.
Acacemic Module applications
On-line applications are currently not available for our academic modules; please click here for a downloadable module application form.
Course and study day fees
As a special concession, study day fees are waived for NHS and PCT staff working in Somerset, unless stated otherwise. If you are unsure about your eligibility for the concession please contact us. Fees are payable at the time of application – cheques should be made payable to St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice, and forwarded to the Education Administrator.
Cancellations
Almost all of our Study Days here at St Margaret's are over subscribed, thus we usually run long waiting lists. Please be aware that places cancelled at short notice generally cannot be filled, so please inform us straight away if you are unable to attend.
