The St. Margaret's Lectures 2017: 'Finding meaning in life and death'

St. Margaret's Hospice has asked a leading sociologist, philosopher and theologian to each give a lecture followed by questions and discussion. All lectures will be held at St. Margaret's Hospice, Heron Drive, Taunton.

Wednesday 8th February: 'Religion in Modern Britain: The backdrop to 21st century hospicecare' - Professor Grace Davie

Wednesday 15th March: 'Mortality vs Immortality' The attitudes of theologians and philosophers over the centuries to the significance of death and the possibility of an afterlife - Sir Anthony Kenny

Wednesday 31st May: 'A Theology of Death after the Resurrection' - Dr Jane Williams

All lectures will be held at St. Margaret's Taunton Hospice. Tickets are £5 towards the cost of the evening and can be booked individually by clicking on the links above. Alternatively, if you would like to book your place at all 3 lectures, please book below.
