HOPE stands for Help Overcoming Problems Effectively. It is a licensed programme that helps people not just with cancer but with other life-limiting illnesses.

What is HOPE?

HOPE is a course developed by Macmillan Cancer Support and Coventry University to support patients and carers on individual programs. It can help you rediscover your strengths and overcome the emotional and practical challenges of life after cancer. You can also share your experiences and get support from other people going through the same thing. You don't have to face it alone.

HOPE is a one off 3 hour session, this shortened workshop is called 'Take Control'. Each session is run by a HOPE professional who is trained to support you to feel more like yourself again.

The course covers some useful skills and ways of coping that can help you manage life after cancer treatment.

This Macmillan course is free to attend and focuses on rediscovering your inner strength and resilience to help you cope emotionally, psychologically and practically. To book your place, please call 0845 070 8910 (option 2)
