Awareness Day

Tesco Bags of Help will be funding St. Margaret’s Hospice to set up new community voluntary groups in Mendip to raise awareness and alleviate fears about the hospice.

Please come to Tesco Shepton Mallet and meet Terena, Susan and Barbie and have a chat about the hospice and how you can help for a few hours a month.

Pack Monday Fair

Monday 15 October, from 9am - 10pm

Cheap Street, Sherborne

This street market dates back to medieval times and is held annually in the centre of this beautiful old town on the first Monday after 10 October – old Michaelmas Day. The main four streets become full of street traders and food stalls so come along and enjoy the bustling atmosphere.

The St. Margaret’s Hospice gazebo will be located in Cheap Street, selling Christmas decorations and cards.

West Somerset Steam Railway Afternoon Tea

Bishops Lydeard Railway Station, TA4 3RU

Come and enjoy the beautiful scenery between Bishops Lydeard and Minehead while enjoying an Afternoon Tea served by Val Stone, Great British Bake Off Finalist 2016.

Capacity: 100 seats available

Tickets: £29.50 includes return train ride and delicious cakes, sandwiches, scones baked by Val Stone and tea/coffe.

Journey times: The train departs from Bishop Lydeard at 12:15pm with the return journey departing at 14:20pm from Minehead.
