Manager Linda Ireland and her team from our Wincanton clothes and furniture shops enjoyed a very successful three days at Visit Hillbrush’s Nearly New Designer Clothing and Accessories Sale.

As well as raising £300 through the sale of Christmas cards, they were delighted to receive a huge amount of designer clothes which were unsold at the end of the event. These will be on sale at our Wincanton clothes shop in the High Street over the coming months.

Linda said: “It was a huge success. We now have over 200 bags of designer clothes to sell, which we hope will raise lots of money for the hospice. I would like to thank the sale organisers, Convish Farm Charity Events, for inviting us to get involved, Visit Hillbrush for hosting the event and Tony Kimber and his assistant Michael at Instore for helping to collect and deliver all the donated designer clothes to our shop.”

Linda and her deputy, Mel Petri-Duckworth, were supported by sales assistant Donna Green and volunteers Lynda Walters, Christine Rose, Roma Masters, Terry Possley and Robert Ireland.

“I have an excellent team who put in a lot of hard work to make sure everything went so well at the sale while our shops were open for business as usual,” added Linda.
