Sunday 2nd October saw Longrun Meadow, Taunton, undertake a dramatic transformation with the arrival of St. Margaret's Bubble Rush!

Nearly 1,100 participants and hundreds of spectators turned up to experience the frothy fun. Participants made their way around a 5k course through green, blue, pink and yellow bubble stations, after starting the race by wading through a sea of frothy white foam. At the finish line, the white St. Margaret's t-shirts were no longer white and those taking part had been covered from head to toe in colourful bubbles!

Sonia Bateman, St. Margaret's Events Project Lead, said "It was an amazing day and it was fantastic to see so many people, young and old, enjoying the fun in the bubbles! We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part and to all the volunteers who helped out on the day. We're looking forward to next year's Bubble Rush already!"

So far £28,447 has been raised through entries and sponsorship, and the hospice is hoping to achieve £35,000 with sponsorship money still coming in.
