Everyone is invited to join in the fun at our Yeovil summer fete on Saturday, May 11.

The event will be bigger than ever, with attractions including ukulele players, a barbecue and a variety of stalls selling food and drink, garden and craft products and more. There will also be a children’s area and vintage tea room.

We're hoping to repeat the success of last year’s fete in the beautiful gardens of our hospice in Little Tarrat Lane, which raised over £13,000.

Victoria Poole, area fundraising manager for St. Margaret’s Hospice, said: “We welcomed more than 1,000 people to our summer fete last year and we’re hoping for a great turnout again this year.

“It promises to be another great day out for all the family and all the money raised will help us to care for people in our community who are facing a life-limiting illness. Everyone is welcome and we’re always looking for new and exciting activities to add to the day.

“We’re especially keen to hear from any businesses or individuals who can help by donating wine or other raffle prizes, and anyone interested in volunteering on the day.”

The fete is taking place at St. Margaret’s Hospice in Little Tarrat Lane, Yeovil, BA20 2HU, from 11am to 4pm. Entry is £2 for adults and free for children under 14.
