Baroness Sheila Hollins Baroness Hollins has been a consultant psychiatrist, teacher, researcher and policy maker in intellectual disability and health and has published over 200 scientific papers, books and accessible patient materials. She currently chairs the Scientific Advisory Committee at the Centre for Child Protection of the Institute of Psychology of the Pontifical Gregorian University. In 2014 Pope Francis appointed her for a four year term to the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors in Rome. Sheila the Baroness Hollins, independent cross bench life peer in the house of Lords, Emeritus Professor of Psychiatry of Disability at St George’s University of London and Honorary Professor of Spirituality and Health in the Department of Theology and Religion at the University of Durham.
