Bereavement Service Coordinator Taunton and Yeovil 22.5 hours per week £26,245 per annum (pro-rata) 2 year fixed term contract/secondment opportunity An exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner to co-ordinate the delivery of the Bereavement Services which support the families and carers bereaved of our patients. In this role you would strive to maintain current standards of care, and continue to adapt and develop the services to best meet the changing needs of the community we serve. You would need good organisational abilities and the resilience to work in a highly emotive field, whilst carrying a small, complex caseload. If you have an Advanced Diploma in Counselling or equivalent professional qualification and the skills and enthusiasm to lead a dedicated team of bereavement support volunteers, we would love to hear from you This post involves providing unsupervised health care to vulnerable adults and is therefore exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975. An appropriate Enhanced Disclosure application will be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check previous spent and unspent convictions that are not subject to filtering rules introduced on 29 May 2013.
