Role Purpose:

To raise awareness of St. Margaret’s Hospice by assisting with the promotion of events and information in your local area.

Role Description:

To take receipt of posters, newsletters and promotional materials to distribute within a defined area in community locations such as:

  • Local Shops
  • Community Noticeboards
  • Libraries
  • GP Surgeries
  • Community Groups 

To identify and pass on new opportunities to promote the work of St. Margaret’s Hospice, and any local events at which we could have a presence.

Personal Specification:

No special qualifications or experience needed. The role may be ideal for you if:

  • You enjoy meeting people and are happy collecting tins and boxes
  • You are keen to raise vital funds for people living with a life-limiting illness
  • You want to help with fundraising in your local area

Volunteers who are fit and able to lift and carry are welcomed, but this is not essential.

Role Requirement:

A 6 month initial commitment would be preferred - role sharing is also possible within an area.
