You will be supporting the Corporate Fundraising Team through engagement with donors. 

You will be supporting the Corporate Fundraising Manager with their expanding workload and playing a key supporting role in helping St. Margaret’s Hospice achieve their ambitious fundraising aspirations.

Role Purpose

  • Assisting the Corporate Fundraising Manager to keep the donor database up to date
  • General administration tasks including answering emails, follow up phone calls and filing
  • Assisting with the preparation of corporate fundraising events
  • Researching potential business donors

Person Specification

  • Excellent administration skills
  • Computer literate with experience of databases a benefit
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic, reliable and committed
  • Good research skills


  • This role will be based in our Taunton hospice
  • At least one shift per week, or fortnightly - this can be flexible to suit
  • A minimum 6 month commitment would be ideal, however a temporary appointment would be considered

  • Induction training and on-going supervision

  • Support and coaching sessions from the Corporate Fundraising Manager
