Financial Accountant / Controller Financial Accountant/Controller Full Time - 37 hours per week £35-40K depending on experience Permanent Based in Taunton A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant/Controller to join a bright, dynamic and dedicated Finance Department within a busy and expanding not for profit organisation with growing commercial enterprises. The purpose of the Financial Accountant/Controller role is to ensure the quality and accuracy of financial data and to enable the production of financial information to deadlines. With a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience, the individual will be required to take responsibility for financial controls, cash flow and treasury management and ensure all financial statements are accurate and timely. Essential qualities include a good working knowledge of Accounting/Financial Regulations as well as significant experience of VAT and the production of statutory accounts/audit process. We are seeking a flexible individual; a team player with excellent communication and people skills and a proven ability to work to deadlines. Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount and the individual should be happy to deputise for the Financial Director on occasion. This position would suit someone with a background in an accounting practice who wishes to join an ambitious and growing charity that is leading the field. A DBS check will be conducted.
