Great Somerset Memory Walk Terms and Conditions All participants must complete the online entry form and pay the relevant fee due. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult registered to take part in the event. We recommend that children under the age of 12 do not take part in this event. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Parents and guardians are advised to consider their child before booking. Parents are responsible for their child/children's safety. The booking fee is non-refundable and contributes to the cost of staging the event. We ask that those taking part raise sponsorship in aid of St. Margaret's Hospice. However, we do not ask for a minimum sponsorship. The event has been organised with safety being paramount. By entering the Great Somerset Memory Walk, you do so entirely at your own risk. This is not a timed event, however we do ask that people consider their walking speed so the distance can be covered in the allotted time. Please ensure that you wear appropriate clothing, appropriate footwear as the ground is uneven in some places, and even in warm weather the wind can make conditions cold. We welcome dogs at this event as long as you are comfortable they can manage the distances. They must be kept on a lead at all times and please ensure you clean up after them. By registering for this event you are agreeing that any official photographs taken can be used by St. Margaret's Hospice for any promotional purposes. St. Margaret's Hospice has taken all reasonable steps to eliminate the chance of injury but there is a certain minimal risk in every activity and you should withdraw from the event if you have any doubts. St. Margaret's Hospice, its employees, agents and volunteers accept no liability whatsoever to participants or spectators in respect of any loss, damage or personal injury which may be sustained in the course of this event other than personal injury (including death) caused by our negligence. Liability cannot be accepted for any damage, injury or loss arising from the negligence of participants (whether through failure to observe the rules of the event or otherwise). Please note that the data consents and preferences you indicate on your registration will be applied to all team members you are registering.
