Head of Learning and People Development Head of Learning and People Development 37 hours per week £40,584 per annum Are you an experienced Head of Learning and People Development or in a similar role and looking for your next challenge? We have an exciting opportunity of Head of Learning and People Development to support the Director of People and Organisational Development in the strategic development and alignment of our workforce, both paid and unpaid, culture, processes and systems. The post holder will be instrumental in leading St. Margaret’s Hospices’ learning and development service to meet the present needs of the organisation and to manage the people development programme to deliver a planned and systematic approach to enabling sustained organisational performance. We are passionate about engaging our people in learning and development opportunities and supporting all in our organisation to achieve their potential. We have a dedicated, combined workforce of over 1,600 people, approximately 425 paid employees and over 1,200 volunteers whose commitment and skills combined with their collective passion and energy enable coordinated care and support to those with end-of-life needs. The successful applicant will lead the development, planning, promotion, delivery and assessment of learning and development across the organisation. We are looking for an experienced individual with a background in Learning and People Development, ideally in a health or social care or related environment.
