Hospice Care Week is an annual week aimed at raising awareness of the fantastic work that hospices do across the UK. This year's Hospice Care Week will run from the 3rd to the 9th of October and the theme is 'Hospice Care is...' This theme aims to highlight all aspects of hospice care, from the well known to the less obvious.

We want to know what the hospice care that St. Margaret's provides means to you. Share what you think #HospiceCareIs with us on social media - post your thoughts on our Facebook page or send us a tweet to @st_marg. You could even download our 'Hospice Care is...' poster, write your ideas on it, and show us your photos of you holding it up!

Here's some feedback we've had so far...

To me, St. Margaret’s means outstanding care. It’s amazing how it has such a wonderful atmosphere, even when sad things are happening. It’s calm and welcoming, and I couldn’t have asked for anything better at a time when the worst thing in my life was happening.

Dad was with St. Margaret's in Yeovil for the last few days of his life. Not only did they respect him as a human being but the staff did their utmost to accomodate his friends and family and to allow him his dignity.

On arriving at St. Margaret's Hospice on a sunny Monday afternoon and seeing the lovely facilities, stunning gardens and more importantly amazing staff, we instantly knew it was such a special place to spend those last few weeks as a family.
