Role Purpose:

This role will enable St. Margaret’s Hospice to increase income through collections at supermarkets, high streets and sports venues across the county.

Role Description:

  • Ensure that there are volunteers for each slot available at the collection
  • Ensure the volunteer knows their time slots and what is expected of them during their time at the collection
  • Ensuring the monies are banked in accordance with our cash handling procedure’s
  • Ensure that all material are returned back to your local Community Fundraiser
  • To ensure our collectors have a good experience
  • Representing St. Margaret’s Hospice to those you come into contact with

Personal Specification:

No special qualifications or experience needed. The role may be ideal for you if:

  • You enjoy meeting people and have good communication skills
  • You have good organisational skills
  • You are confident in handling money and banking procedures
  • You are keen to raise vital funds for people living with a life-limiting illness in your local area

Role Requirement

  • 6 month commitment
  • To wear an ID badge and branded clothing when on duty
  • To comply with the Fundraising Regulations Authority (training will be given)
