Emma Britton and Billy the Beagle to open this year's Festive Fun Run!

Get into the Christmas spirit by joining St. Margaret’s Hospice at their Festive Fun Run, Sunday 3rd December, Bridgwater and Albion Football Rugby Club. The event is kindly being sponsored by Western Power and will see hundreds of families, in Christmas fancy dress, either running or cheering runners on during a 5k fun run.

St. Margaret’s Hospice Patrons, Emma Britton and Billy the Beagle, will be opening the event and the hospice is planning family attractions so there is something for everyone. To sign up for the event CLICK HERE

You don’t have to run, you can walk, skip, jump or even cartwheel the route!

Attractions will include: a Photo Booth for a festive family photo, a treasure hunt for the little ones, Hot Sausage Co., alcoholic hot chocolate to keep the spectators warm and a raffle to ‘win your Christmas’.

Richard Wallace, Events Manager at St. Margaret’s Hospice says “The Festive Fun Run will be a great event for all the family, runners will get a medal, Emma Britton and Billy the Beagle will be opening the event, with lots more attractions for the whole family. We hope the Bridgwater community will come out in force, sign up for the run and raise as much sponsorship as possible. St. Margaret’s Hospice is a charity – we are not part of the NHS and it’s the sponsorship raised at events like these that ensures we can care and support patients and their families across Somerset.”
