People and Organisational Development Director Permanent Full Time (37 hours) Taunton, Somerset covering the whole of the county c£65,000 + excellent benefits Over the last year we have invested nearly £10m in end of life care and helped countless patients, carers and professionals. Our work is primarily funded by our generous supporters: one-off donors; lifelong supporters; customers in our shops; corporate partners and those who have been touched by our service. Our work is fundamental to the health needs of our population. This is why we require a world-class Director. Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will develop and implement ambitious, innovative and comprehensive people and organisational development strategies. You will also demonstrate the first-class leadership skills that will serve to motivate and develop the team. Your track record of past success in the fields of human resource management will be clear. To succeed in this role you will also need strong breadth of vision, strategic insight and analysis, determination as well as proven skills in project management, volunteer strategic development and managing diverse workforce needs. Quality is important and you will drive and stretch targets. You will be instrumental in motivating, coaching and inspiring all our staff and volunteers.
